What's the icing on my dad's cake?
What's the cherry on his cake?
What's the rusted oven doing in the kitchen?
Will it burn my dad's cake?
I want it baked just right,
I want a piece of that cake.
I want to be sure it's caramelised,
baked to his taste.
Sometimes there is no electricity
and i worry about the cake going bad.
But dad's a decent baker,
and mom's a trusted helper.
But then I wonder..
What if this is that one bad day in my decent baker's life?
And then I hope, that this is going to be the one most beautiful day in my decent baker's life..
The icing, the cherry, the heat and the texture, it's all going to be right today.
MY DAD IS BAKING THE BEST CAKE EVER! :)
